Stunning William Comyns Sterling Silver Perfume Case & Green Glass Bottle (unusual for you to find the green bottle, most bottles were clear color) Repousse on both sides depicting “The Medieval Times Hour of Sacrifice and Offering”. The green bottle comes complete with stopper is a removable insert into the sterling case. The lid has a snap on lock.
The image of the silver makers mark (underside of lid) W.C. is attributed to William Comyns & Sons, a silversmith she was sending his silver to the London Assay Office between 1859 and 1915. the other marks visible are the Lion Passant denoting 925 and the date letter B for 1903/1904.
