Only had trailer for 3 months, still had temp tags on it. Was in a gated, 24/7 video security storage. Thieves rented a space online from storage and were granted online access code without ever showing ID, lic plate, etc. They drive in with a stolen truck on a Saturday afternoon, change flat tire on the trailer, cut lock, and replace battery for lift, but yet no one ever saw them lurking about for hours! We were called and accused of side-swiping the trailer next to us by the storage facility…..hello, wasn’t us! The thieves hit the trailer next to ours when they were stealing our family trailer! Funny, the storage facility states in their contract….we are not responsible for our negligence! Wtf?! I’m a nurse. If I were negligent at my job, I’d be fired and people would get hurt. Pathetic to think we can be negligent doing our jobs but not accountable in the least! That’s crazy! What kind of f’d up society do we live in? Yes, I’m pissed! I work hard, have 6 kids, and have waited a long time to save up for this trailer! I realize in this covid-time, things can always be worse. I’m thankful for the health of my family, but hope people like this get what they truly deserve!
