My boyfriend’s dad recently gave him his old truck to help us out. In the middle of the night on Sunday, June 12th, 2018, someone stole the truck.

I was just about to pay for and start a college course on Monday but that has now been put on hold due to finances and thanks to the thief/thieves that took our truck. I also lost my job a couple of months ago and have had some other very severe financial dings since too.

It just feels pretty terrible to think that, in a flash, some stranger can take a piece of our freedom away like that.

The truck is silver, it had bright teal-colored New Mexico plates, a shattered passenger side mirror (external), a colorful snow sled and a yellow kid’s foam snowboard in the back, a new MVMT watch in the back, a bright green iPhone plug in the cigarette holder, peeling clear paint around the rim of the bed, a bed liner, a (noisy) Flowmaster tailpipe, tinted windows, and rubber mats inside in the front.

We’re grateful for any leads at all.

Thank you so much,
