Friends Blue 2017 Toyota Camry was stolen while we were unloading groceries in Euclid Ohio 44123. Suspects drove by in a Black/Dark Brown Chrysler 300 vehicle with dealer plates beginning with 06 or 09. Suspects pulled in neighbors driveway and shut their lights off immediately but we didn’t think anything of it. My friend went outside and saw a man with a white hoodie get in his car and drive off. I went outside and chased after the Chrysler 300 that was still pulling out of neighbors driveway and tried smashing their back window out. Got in my car immediately and tried going after them. Both cars got away.
2 days later my friend and I spotted the stolen Camry at the corner of Eddy Road and St Clair in Cleveland OH at a convenience store called Chillies. Suspect recognized the car we were driving in somehow and sped off and lead us in pursuit, crashing red lights and making turns down side streets. We lost them and alerted the police giving them updated information about the vehicle. My friends Camry is all blue, with black rims and black trim around the windows. The suspects removed the front license plate and put a dealers plate on the rear, which is the same plate that was on the Chrysler 300 the night it happened. The suspects also blacked out the Toyota emblem and grill on the front of the vehicle. The car was covered in salt but the blue is still very noticeable. So currently the car should still be missing the front license plate, and still have the other customizations.
The image attached is not the actual vehicle, but instead what the vehicle will look like as we do not have any recent photos of the car after our customizations. The rims are stock OEM and do not look like the ones in the picture attached. The car also has tinted windows and the Toyota emblem and grill are blacked out. Along with the trim around the windows are black.
