Here’s the Story…

Wednesday (10/25/2017) Between 3:30 and 4:30 PDT

Basement of Honnold/Mudd Library on the Mudd Wing
Table Near the Elevator and Pillar
Claremont Colleges Campus in Claremont, CA 91711

Girlfriend sitting at table near elevator, Backpack (Blue High Sierra Elite attached for reference) was on the floor next to table and pillar diagonally across from her. In her line of sight.

Suspect accurately reported by girlfriend as “scrawny” Caucasian boy with long blonde hair, likely high school student 14-16 years of age wearing a Black and White Horizontally Striped Hoodie (see picture attached of what jacket likely looked like). Blended himself with 3 other teenagers, one who was bouncing a basketball but suspect is NOT associated with the 3 other boys.

Suspect took entire backpack and left it in stairwell.
Took ipad with the sleeve and cover. iPad was inside a black and blue sleeve and protected by the black ELV case (please see both pictures attached).

Claremont Colleges Campus Safety and Claremont Police Department both made aware and official reports filed.

This is a very deliberate case of theft and I hope this person is caught and properly disciplined. This is critical or he will continue to steal property of others.

Thank you for your time.
