Here’s the Story…

Stolen at a home burlary, Las Vegas, NV Oct 26, 2016, three generations of jewelry, including edwardian, deco, post-war, and modern pieces. The burglars took the cases too, including an old Meiji period Japanese tansu with bronze drawer levers, and an English Georgian jewelry chest in mahogany with beveled glass front door showing the drawers. Among the pieces I had stolen was a 56 carat fairly round untreated piece of Cripple Creek turquoise mounted in a silver bolo by silversmith Robert Talltree, an Indian Chief in Colorado Springs. The bolo is in a distressed silver mount design with shadow box black back interior to highlight the turquoise cabochon. It has silver tips and black leather braided rope. He signed the back of the piece with his name. The silver bolo itself is about 1 1/2″ long/wide. He was a special silversmith and jeweler to me, who no longer does this.
I will reward the return of this piece to me.
