This is my grandfather’s rifle and the thief who admitted stealing it to a mutual friend. It was stolen in 2007. We have reason to suspect it is now in Tennessee, as he said that was where he was from, and he mailed several rifles “home”. He goes by Todd, real name Wesley Byars. He lived in Alaska from about 2004 through 2008 and worked at the Alaska Zoo plus was a hunting guide for several years.
The rifle has a tiny compass that was added by grandpa, set into the stock, so it’s easy to identify. It is not valuable but has great sentimental value.
