My father had this bass ever since high school. It passed to me upon his early demise and was the only one I knew I wasn’t going to sell. He used to set me in his lap when I was little and play me songs. 4 string 1953 Fender Precision Bass Guitar that has a black body with a black pickguard, a single coil pickup, and a chrome control plate loaded with chrome volume & toneknobs. The chrome bridge has the serial #0208 and the words FENDER PATENT inscribed upon it. The bolt on maple neck has 20 frets, and the headstock has 4 chrome tuning keys with the Fender logo and Precision Bass label just below the tuning keys. The Original pick-up, pick-up & bridge covers, and potentiometers are kept in the black hard-shell case along with the cammo pattern shoulder strap. There’s a dent in the body close to the top strap button and a couple of slight dings down by the bridge. Serial # 0208.
