Police Report Filed? | No |
This Stratocaster has a silver Fender Custom Shop 50th Anniversary logo button on the back of the headstock. It did not have the anniversary neck plate, on the back. It is a cherry burst finish, with nickel hardware. There was a nick in the fret at the 9th position from a tumble it took during a gig. The documentation I had with the serial number went missing when the guitar was stolen. I wish I had taken pictures of it for a record. This guitar, another, a mandolin and a Fender Acoustasonic SFX II were all stolen after someone gained access to my home through a window, and left with them out the front door. I had a previous misfortunate altercation with the police the day before the theft. While that situation has been solved, I did not trust the police at that time to help me with this situation. I was able to share pictures with one officer who never filed a report for me. I have had no help from them. Once we showed pictures of the equipment still in my home after a search warrant had been carried out, and then reported the items as stolen, they seemed to want nothing else to do with it. I have no clues as to who stole the equipment. This guitar was stolen with it’s case, which had an Obama sticker and an NRA sticker on it, as well as a Nine Inch Nails backstage pass sticker. Information leading to recovery will be rewarded. Thanks for looking.
