After a Timber King sawmill was stolen from a county park, the tracker, initially dormant, activated when the stolen item was sold to an iPhone user, leading police to a property in Wildwood. There, authorities discovered a cache of stolen goods, including a golf cart, UTV, and skid loaders, resulting in charges against two individuals for thefts spanning multiple jurisdictions. The recovered sawmill has been returned to the county, showcasing the effectiveness of low-cost tracking technology in criminal investigations.
