The GoKart was secured with a heavy chain lock to an exterior staircase; the suspect cut and removed the chain along with the vehicle.
Prior to the theft, an unknown individual covered the victim’s door security camera with tape. Because the unit is located in a private corridor not visible from any main street or public roadway, it is strongly suspected that the individual responsible has personal knowledge of or access to the building’s interior walkways.
The GoKart was purchased as a special birthday gift for the owner’s young son. A cash reward is being offered by the owner for information that leads to the direct recovery of the vehicle.
