The motorcycle was taken from within the garage under unknown circumstances. It was last seen parked in a designated space within the Colonial Parking facility.
The stolen YZF-R7 is black and was displaying Virginia license plate J87189. It features the following unique modifications:
- Red clutch and brake levers
- Rubber tank grips
The 2025 Yamaha YZF-R7 is a lightweight supersport motorcycle designed for street and track use. Built with a torquey parallel-twin engine, aggressive ergonomics, and refined styling, it’s a popular model among performance enthusiasts and newer riders alike. These features, combined with high resale value and ease of transport, often make it a target for theft — especially in unsecured public garages.
Since the theft, it’s possible that the Yamaha YZF-R7 has been painted or wrapped a different color, and the VIN has been swapped or altered.
