What We Know
The driver reported the vehicle stalled along San Dimas Avenue, just north of the CA-57 freeway overpass. Concerned about being in a dark area, the driver called a relative for a ride and started walking toward a gas station about four blocks away. Within roughly fifteen minutes of being left unattended, the Impala was gone. The relative, who had turned back toward the car’s location, arrived to find it missing. No broken glass was observed at the scene.
