Heirloom Jewelry Stolen in Charlotte After Overnight Car Break-In
Charlotte, NC – Between 10:15 p.m. on September 5, 2025 and the morning of September 6, 2025, a vehicle parked on the 4000 block of Ashton Ridge Lane in Charlotte was broken into. A large amount of jewelry—including multiple irreplaceable family heirlooms—was stolen. A report was taken by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD), which is actively investigating this theft (CMPD Report #20250906130100).
List of Items Reported Stolen:
- Large yellow gold band with large white pearl ring
- Green oval peridot ring with diamond halo, 14k yellow gold band
- Diamond 3-row ring, 14k yellow gold, ~2 carats total — FAMILY HEIRLOOM
- David Yurman silver ring with diamond clasp
- Diamond heart (~2 carats) + dark blue sapphire necklace on silver chain, white gold setting — FAMILY HEIRLOOM
- Yellow gold small hoop “huggie” earrings (~½ ct total weight in diamonds)
- David Yurman cable two-tone large hoop earrings (silver & gold)
- Tiffany blue enamel heart bracelet — silver beaded with heart chain attachment
- White gold diamond tennis bracelet (~5 carats total weight), channel set
- David Yurman large silver chain-link bracelet with diamond toggle clasp
- David Yurman bracelet with one medium blue stone and two small purple stones (silver with small gold accents)
Since the theft, it’s possible the items could be altered, resold, or transported outside the area. Jewelers, pawnbrokers, second-hand stores, and online sellers are asked to be alert for these pieces.
