A highly customized 1989 BMW 325is was stolen from a residence in Harbor City, California, on December 13, 2024. The vehicle was taken along with the trailer it was being transported on. Video footage from the scene shows three men arriving at the property in a Ford SUV at 5:40 PM, hooking up the trailer, and driving away with both the car and trailer.
The BMW, a one-of-a-kind model, is known for its striking modifications. It features a custom LS7 twin-turbo engine capable of producing 1,500 horsepower and is proudly described by its owner as the first car in the world equipped with an onboard water system, dubbed “Aquaphant.” The vehicle’s unique features and high-performance specs make it a standout, adding to the appeal for potential thieves.
This particular model is a 1989 BMW 325is, a notable car from BMW’s E30 series, which was known for its blend of sportiness and practicality.
