STOLEN 1950 Studebaker 2R5 – RECOVERD!
2/20/2025 – UPDATE – A tip came into the Stolen 911 tip line today at 11:55 AM. The Studebaker had been parked next to an orchard sometime during the night. Obviously, the heat was a little too much for the crooks. We contacted members of StanCATT – Stanislaus County Auto Theft Task Force, who quickly moved in and secured the pickup. Original post – TURLOCK, CA – A rare 1950 Studebaker 2R5 pickup truck was stolen on January 25, 2025, from 301 W Canal Drive, near the Turlock Swap Meet. The theft occurred between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. while the owner was attending the event.

The stolen vehicle is a distinctive pink and black Studebaker pickup with a California license plate 6050R3. Surveillance footage captured an unidentified male suspect, dressed in blue jeans and a blue-and-white checkered shirt, approaching the vehicle. The suspect was seen using either a key fob or an access button to enter the truck before driving away.
Turlock Police Department has taken a stolen vehicle report, while Hinch Investigations is leading the search. Anyone with information is urged to contact them at 408-461-7714 or via Telegram at Stolen911.
