Security footage revealed a surprising detail: the culprit used a seemingly unremarkable early 2000s Ford Explorer to tow away the trailer containing the Mustang. Stranger still? The Explorer lacked a license plate, a cunning trick employed by those who operate in the shadows.
The trailer was later found abandoned, devoid of its precious cargo. The Mustang, a symbol of automotive passion, had vanished without a trace.
