Classic 1988 BMW M3 Stolen in Sylmar During Family Visit

Sylmar, CA – A classic 1988 BMW M3 — a prized E30 model — was stolen from a quiet residential street on the evening of July 16, 2025. The theft occurred while the owner was visiting family on Nurmi Street.

The white BMW E30 M3 is highly customized with aftermarket performance upgrades to the engine, suspension, and interior. The owner described it as a “childhood dream car” and said he had invested years restoring the vehicle to near-showroom condition.

According to the report, the car was parked at around 8:30 PM and found missing just two hours later. No broken glass or signs of forced entry were found at the scene. The owner confirmed he had the only ignition key.
