Stolen Southland Flatbed Trailer Recovered in North Sacramento
UPDATE RECOVERED
A tipster who lives near a known trailer thief in North Sac saw the perp one day with a nice new flatbed trailer and thought, “That has to be stolen.” He searched out the make and model on Google plus the word “stolen,” and the original post was at the top of the search results. He called us right away, and, working with our contacts at the CHP, we made a recovery for the owner.

Theft Details: Sometime on Jan 28th or 29th, the trailer was stolen from behind our office. chains cut, the chain between wheels cut, front hitch lock cut.
Unique Identifiers: Custom aluminum front box (Dimond Plate lid and partial sides.) Had a winch mounted to the front bar. A deck coated with redwood sealer. I front box has been removed the will be self-tapping holes in the top of the frame. The rear has two crank-down jacks to stabilize the trailer and allow it to load.
Contents Of Trailer: The front storage box had tie-downs, binders, and chains. All new.
