Load Rite Tandem Trailer with Jet Skis Stolen in Southampton, NJ

Southampton, NJ – Authorities are investigating the theft of a Load Rite tandem trailer and two personal watercraft from a residence in Southampton. The incident occurred in the early morning hours of August 11, 2025, when the trailer was taken from the victim’s backyard between approximately 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m.

The stolen trailer is a Load Rite tandem galvanized model, measuring 14 feet in length and built with dual axles for carrying heavier loads. At the time of the theft, the trailer was carrying two 2023 Sea-Doo GTX Limited jet skis—one blue and one grey. Both jet skis are high-performance models designed for luxury and long-range riding, often regarded as Sea-Doo’s flagship series.

The trailer itself is notable for several identifiers. In addition to its galvanized finish, it carries a sticker from an Atlantic City dealer, a unique detail that could aid in identification. The trailer’s VIN has been recorded as 288678934. A theft report has been filed with the New Jersey State Police.
