Bracelet Stolen During Cash Sale Scam in Virginia Beach
Virginia Beach, VA – On October 25, 2025, a gold bracelet was stolen during what appeared to be a legitimate in-person sale arranged through Facebook Marketplace. The meeting took place inside a bank lobby at 4625 Virginia Beach Blvd, a location chosen specifically for safety. Despite these precautions, the suspect used a cash-swap distraction tactic and fled with the bracelet. A report was filed with the Virginia Beach Police Department under case number 2025-053920.

Stolen Item Description:
- Solid gold figaro-style bracelet
- High polish finish
- Stamped “TEX” on clasp (distinct maker’s hallmark)
- Medium-weight chain links
- Last worn and photographed as shown below

The suspect handed over what appeared to be a large wad of cash and stepped back. When the victim looked down to begin counting, the suspect ran out of the lobby with the bracelet. This is a known cash bundle scam, where the money stack looks full but is composed of mostly blank or low-value filler inside.
