🚗 About the 2019 Corvette ZR1
The 2019 Corvette ZR1 is considered the pinnacle of Chevrolet’s C7 platform and a milestone in American automotive history. Key facts include:
- 755 horsepower — most powerful production Corvette at the time
- Known as “America’s supercar” and GM’s fastest road car
- Last front-engine Corvette before the mid-engine C8
- Only 2,953 units produced globally
- This car was #202 off the production line
Its rarity, performance specs, and historical significance have made the 2019 ZR1 one of the most coveted Corvettes by collectors and performance enthusiasts alike.

⚠️ Why Thieves Target the ZR1
High-performance vehicles like the ZR1 are often targeted due to:
- 💰 Resale or export value in illicit markets
- 🔧 VIN swapping or cloning to pass it off as a clean-title car
- 🚨 Use in sideshows and street takeovers to show off online
- 🧩 Parting out rare models for specialty components
Los Angeles County remains a hotspot for sideshow-related auto theft, where stolen high-performance cars are used in illegal street racing events or rapidly stripped and exported.
