Dallas, TX — A distinctive, race-modified 2001 BMW M Roadster was reported stolen from a business parking lot in northwest Dallas, according to a report filed with the Dallas Police Department.

The theft occurred sometime between approximately 11:50 p.m. on November 7, 2025, and 3:00 p.m. on November 8, 2025, while the vehicle was parked overnight in the visitor parking area outside the Texas Card House along Harry Hines Boulevard.
The vehicle’s operator returned to the location the following afternoon and discovered the BMW missing. It was later confirmed that the vehicle had not been towed.
The stolen vehicle is a 2001 BMW M Roadster, finished in blue, bearing VIN WBSCL93481LJ80036 and Montana license plate 788404E.
The car is race-modified and features a highly recognizable marking — the words “RACE MARQUEE” displayed on the lower right door. At the time of the theft, a Shiloh racing helmet was also inside the vehicle.
According to the report, the driver arrived at the business during the evening hours and elected to leave the vehicle parked overnight, using a rideshare service to return home. The BMW was reportedly locked, and the only set of keys remains accounted for. No additional anti-theft devices were active at the time.
The theft was documented by the Dallas Police Department under Case #161282-2025.
Due to the vehicle’s racing configuration and distinctive markings, investigators believe it may be difficult to resell without attracting attention, particularly within motorsports, track-day, or performance-car communities.
This case is being investigated by Marc Hinch, a retired California Highway Patrol Auto Theft Investigator and founder of Stolen 911 / Hinch Investigations.
